The Lady Behind Zeeuh
2September 7, 2012 by zeeuh
My name is Alicia but you can call me Isha <3
I am fairly new at blogging
Three months ago, I only had a Facebook account
Earlier this year I have been on a journey of finding myself.
{I guess you could call it that}
Over two years ago I was blessed to be able to stay at home with my daughter
and just become a full time mom & wife
It was till about the end of last year I really felt like I had a lack of identity
I kept praying and asking, “What is my purpose? What is my talent? And what tool do I possess?”
Then I started my adventure of sewing
Zeeuh was born
{Read more how Zeeuh got its name here}
And I felt I had more to give— to tell.
So here my blog began.
While most of my readers have started out to be my family
{They all live miles away, so what a great outlet for them to stay up to date}
I want my new readers to feel more connected, with me.

So here we go…
Things you {probably} don’t know about me….
I am 24 and 90% of the time I feel I can not relate with my generation
I have an apron fetish, love to bake and wish I was a 1950′s house wife
For years I have yearn to own a Kitchen Aid stand mixer {The kind with all of the attachments and gizmos}
I love color especially yellows and oranges. I love patterns and textures. But if you looked at my {lack of} ward robe, I’d have you thinking other wise

I am flat footed, and didn’t find out until I was 18
I love the smell of Christmas trees. I haven’t enjoyed one in a home since before I left for the Navy in about 2005 {This year it will change!}
I love tulips! The sight, smell and thought of them brings memories of my grandmother {oh how I miss her}
Dean Martin and Nat King Cole’s voice makes my soul melt

Every day I ask and pray to just be a blessing to others. My heart just wants to help others. I once too was lost and down on my luck. And at times I still do seek guidance. I hope that I have or will touch at least one person through my journey.
“She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future. When she speaks, her words are wise, and she gives instructions with kindness. She carefully watches everything in her household and suffers nothing from laziness.” Proverbs 31 NLT | YouVersion.com.
